Day 1 Arrival Colombo - transfer to Negombo

On arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will be greeted by local in country staff, before transferring to Negombo which will take approx. 30 Mins. Upon arrival at the hotel, there will be time to unpack, rest and freshen up

Day 2 Transfer to Dambulla and then to Trincomalee.

After breakfast, the group will transfer to Dambulla approx. 3 ½ hrs. Visit Dambulla Golden Temple and Caves. Then will drive to their hotel in Trincomalee to freshen up and have dinner. The drive will take approx. 2 ½ hrs.

Day 3 Snorkel at Pigeon Island & Trincomalee city tour

After breakfast, transfer to Pigeon Island. Approx, 01 hr. Pigeon Island is one of two Marine National parks. Ideal place for snorkeling. Afternoon visit to Trincomalee city and visit famous Koneswarum Kovil.

Day 4 Whale Watching

With Packed breakfast transfer to Trincomalee Harbor to take whale watching tour. On completion transfer to white sand beach and spend the evening

Day 5 Trincomalee to Pasikudah

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Pasikudah, Approx. 2 hrs. Visit Pasikudah Bay. Afternoon spend at the beach. Pasikudah beach indeed is known to have the longest stretch of shallow coastline in the world – here you can walk kilometers out into the sea in just a few feet of water with relatively weak currents.

Day 6 Passikudah to Batticaloa

This morning you will transfer to Batticaloa. Takes approx. 1 hr. You will stay in a Local house (Home stay) Afternoon walk and bicycle ride around the village and interact with locals

Day 7 Cook & Fish

After breakfast, visit to Batticaloa Market and buy food, Cooking class and learn authentic cooking and lunch with local family. The Bicycle ride along the Lagoon. Visit Lighthouse area and with sunset fishing class with local fisherman

Day 8 Discover village life in rural Batticaloa

Let’s leave the main road… Let’s guide you inland, in-depth, to off-the-beaten-track rural villages. Luxuriant paddy fields, untamed wildlife, secret ponds, mighty rocks, cultivation areas… are just part of the experience. Be welcomed by real villagers in real villages, share a moment of their life, taste their food and get to know them... Includes Bird Watching, Climb Kudumbimalai Rock, Visit to Minatory museum, Observe wild iife, interact with villages

Day 9 Batticaloa to Gal Oya

After breakfast, transfer to Gal Oya and visit Gal Oya National Park. The drive will take approx. 2hrs. Considered as a major eco tourism venue, Gal Oya National Park is rich in flora and fauna. About 45% of the park is covered by evergreen forest and a further 33% is taken up by savanna areas.

Day 10 Gal Oya to Kandy via Mahiyangana

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Mahiyangana. The drive will take approx. 2.5 – 3 hrs. Visit Wadda’s Village. The Vedda people are Sri Lanka’s indigenous population, linked closely to the aboriginal people of the island, who live in small forest communities away from urban life and the rest of the inhabitants of Sri Lanka. Then continue to Kandy. Enjoy a walking tour in the city of Kandy. The drive will take approx. 2.5 – 3 hrs.

Day 11 Departure

After breakfast, the group will check out and transfer to the airport in time for the departure flight. Drive take approx.. 3 hours
