Galle is the capital city of the Southern Province of Sri Lanka, 116 Km away from Colombo. The City has a World Heritage Site and that is predominantly responsible for its popularity with tourists. Galle Fort now is the 300-year-old Dutch Fort, also there are other historical buildings to view as well.
